Škoda Auto won prize in the WebTop100 competition

In accordance with the competition results in Auto-moto category, Škoda Auto keeps the best corporate internet presentation.

The competition for the best corporate presentation WebTop100 is a project enabling the quality confrontation of the prominent Czech company webs. The chart includes internet presentations of all the companies in current year BIZ100. Hundred of the greatest Czech companies are evaluated according to their real economic profits.

In addition several branch charts are set. Any Czech corporate web presentation can engage. This year the following branch categories were set: Auto-moto, IT, Finances, Telecommunications, Transport, Industry, Energy, Trade and sale, Tourist trade, E-shop, Food industry and gastronomy.

The internet presentations were judged by the evaluative criteria in several spheres: Usability, Graphic design, Engineering solution, Marketing and Value of information.
To ensure the maximum objectivity experts on IT and particular branches, who criticized content aspects of the web, constituted the jury. The ex-minister of the informatics Dana Bérová accepted the position as a chairwoman of the jury.

The sixth year of the competition was held and Škoda Auto succeeded again. Like in the last two years Škoda auto won the first prize in Auto-moto category and reached the 24th place in overall result. The ceremonial took place in Prague club P.M. on October 30. Ondřej Motl, member of the Internet team Škoda Auto, received the prize from Roman Beránek, moderator of the Czech TV’s Auto Moto Revue programme. Škoda Auto considers the internet to be an important mean of sales promotion.
